My Background

Following the completion of my medical degree in Liverpool University, I worked in the north-west region to complete my training in general practice. I completed my DRCOG and MRCGP by 1998. I took up a permanent post as a GP in Blackburn in 1998 and became the principal partner in 2001. I was the senior partner at the practice until 2016.

Thereafter, I have worked as a Locum GP in the north-west region. I am no longer working as a doctor in the United Kingdom. And I am no longer registered with the GMC.

However, I continue to work as a circumcision practitioner. I have been performing circumcisions since 2003. I perform circumcisions on children up to the age of six months for religious/cosmetic reasons
